How it works
One community. One chapter at a time. Real books. Real payment. Real craft.
Weeks 1–4
Submit
Write and submit your chapter. Every submission gets read.
End of month
Moderation
Every submission reviewed. Content that breaks the rules is silently excluded.
Weeks 1–2, next month
Vote
The community reads and votes — blind. No names attached, just the writing.
Week 2
Winner
One chapter enters the book. The rest go to The Vault. Then the cycle begins again.

Every paid member receives a permanent sequential number — #1, #2, #3 — assigned the moment they join. It never changes. Cancel and return, your number waits. Lower numbers carry prestige. #1 belongs to the founder.
This is your identity in the Society, forever.
The Workshop Oath
Before you submit your first chapter, you sign the Workshop Oath. It is a commitment to human craft in an age of artificial noise.
“I am a Chapterwright. What I craft here, I craft alone. Every chapter I submit is written entirely by my own hand and mind. No machine spoke these words. This is my oath.”

Fixed Fee
You receive a fixed fee within 30 days. The amount scales as the community grows — the bigger the Society, the more each win is worth.
Royalties
You receive an equal share of that story’s royalty pool — paid quarterly, for every product that story ever becomes. Books. Adaptations. Merchandise. Forever.
Submitted chapters become ChapterWright IP. The words begin with you — and they go on to become something lasting. Full terms in our royalties page.
Yes — your submission slots apply per round, not per genre. Check your membership tier for your slot allowance.
They go to The Vault — a members-only archive of all alternate chapters, clearly labelled as non-canon. Your work is never discarded.
Voting is blind — you don't know who wrote what. Each voter receives a personal queue of chapters to read and rate. Vote counts are never published. The highest-rated chapter wins.
We use multiple detection layers and human review. No system is perfect — but the Workshop Oath is a commitment, not just a rule. We trust our community to honour it.
Fixed fees are paid within 30 days of your chapter winning. Royalties are paid quarterly once a story begins generating revenue.
